Here in my blog I’m sure you’ve all noticed that I have a nice little alphabet theme going on. I adore doing it and it keeps me focused when writing.
But I’ve had some comments that my letters could stand for other things. Well I am more than half way through the alphabet and planning to start over at A after Z, so this post is all about me giving you the chance to voice your opinions on what the letters should stand for. I’m not promising to use every one or any one, but I would love to hear your opinions. You can choose any or all letters, and give as many suggestions as you want.

Posting can also mean something else. In the BDSM world, posts are often used in dungeon and pain play, as well as ways to mark a slave. Posts are normally small, though can be larger at times, metal rods inserted either into the slave’s nipples or penis foreskin, normally with small holes on either end of the rod. These holes can be used to hang weights from or to attach a chain to and lead the slave around or confine them to one area.

It took me awhile longer than usual to decide just what I wanted to use for R. There are so many things and I vacillated between them for 2 days. It seems like R is one of those letters, like S that has so many varied applications. Rules, rimming, rack, role-playing, red lipstick, respect…..And of course, the one I ultimately went with, was restraint.

The word itself has a couple of very different connotations in the world of domination. It can be used by the submissive slave, to be physically restrained. You need to be restrained, locked into chastity. For instance one of my fun new slaves, Tanya, admitted she cheats. If not locked up, she will cheat. So, I padlocked her into her outfit. A belt through the loops of her skirt to keep her in it, and a pair of locking boots. Five inch heels with 3 padlocks on each shoe to keep her in them even when, after only 10 minutes, she starts whining about how uncomfortable they are for her legs. Then there were the cuffs and collar, which will soon have a chain between all three, but for now are just cuffs and a high posture collar. Then of course, the one she begged me NOT to lock. Pointing our that it would keep her from being able to come and how she didn’t really want that. *giggle*

Needless to say, I not only laughed but happily clicked the locks on the CB600 chastity device. I can’t stand cheaters and especially not stupid ones who tell me they are going to do it!

Restraints are necessary for a slutty little sissy like Tanya. She can’t keep her hands off herself and ruins her own training by doing so. I’m sure if she were to end up in a dungeon she’d need to be strapped to the table, as she is without restraint of her own.

And that is the other connotation of the word…Personal restraint. Mistresses show this every time they are with a slave. There is a level of restraint that is required in being a good mistress and we all have it. We all know when to pull back and when to let go. If we didn’t there would be many annoyingly mouthy slaves who were beat to death with a riding crop.

But slaves just do not have much of this. The personal responsibility required isn’t present and they need to be controlled. This is one of the many fundamental differences between Mistress and slave.

Responsibility for yourself…Another awesome R, is what determines who has restraint and who needs to be restrained.

“Humiliation is the way to humility and without humility, nothing is pleasing to god”, said St. Francis of Assisi. Not that I’m particularly religious, but I like the sense that masochism can be viewed as a spiritual path, when it includes the mind rather than senseless violence against the sub’s body. But we all have fantasies and they live in our mind, though we sometimes say, I’d never REALLY do that. I say, “Never say Never”, your mind can be bent and changed.

Part of the beauty of phone sex and mistresses is the strong use of the mind. You can’t simply discipline a body, but instead have to control the mind with fantasy and roleplay.

Mind games are basically any kind of manipulation by a Mistress, or Empress in some cases, which heightens anticipation and fear in a slave’s emotions and in so doing makes the fantasy stronger. As I said, this can include many things. It looks more like a lounge than a dungeon, at least at first glance, but the pink tiles on the floor are water proof and any fluids can be easily washed down the drain.
